Hello friend - happy Wednesday!
I've already shared a word this week, so thought that today's gift might celebrate my other loves:
books ~ creativity ~ colour ~ fun!
Many thanks to the ever-inspiring 'Brain Pickings' for sharing this forward.
I wonder if you'll be like me and have to watch it several times?
Happy day!

PS: I forgot to let you know my favourite 'bit'....the part where the little book is reading the big book under the 'itty-bitty' book light - precious!

I liked the piano sequence with the black and white books. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAha-didn't see that!
DeleteOh I adored this, Felicity. As you knew I would ☺. I loved seeing Babar striding into the distance at the beginning and the Staedtler Triplus Fineliners packing themselves away at the end. I bought a packet of them last week! J x
ReplyDeleteGreat pick J - I had to go back and look for Babar, one of my faves too.

Love Barbar too, although remember finding the font hard to read as a tiny child, as it was semi cursive. Off for the weekend, taking a book to read on the plane, aren't you proud of me?? Love Posie
ReplyDeleteIndeed I am my lovely friend, indeed I am.

Oh now I loved that! Who wouldn't?
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine how long it took to turn all the books around so many times, seriously. It is so inspiring to know people are out there taking the time to create joyful things like this. So much creativity.
Thanks F :)
My teen who pegs herself as a bit of a stop-motion guru [rightly so too] was absolutely gobsmacked by this Jeanette.
DeleteHappy day!

That was wonderful. I am a huge book fan and totally agree - there is nothing like a book.
ReplyDeleteThat must have taken ages to put together!! Makes me want to buy some more books now :)
I can imagine your Cherubs having the best fun making stop motion videos in the Easter holidays - show them this and they'll go bonkers with playdough and papercraft etc.
DeleteMany of my treasured Birthday cards are now stopmotionified by the teens.
