What fun I've had today, storing my winter woollies and tights and digging out my spring clothes.
Gone are all the blacks and greys (well almost all) and in their place is colour, colour, colour!
The warmer weather has heralded a change in lighter, brighter clothing and I'm looking forward to working my way through my little rainbow of tops and dresses.
So what about you - are you a colour lover? Does your wardrobe reflect this?
Do you think that selecting what you'll wear each day constitutes a creative process?
If you enjoy playing with colour and texture, I bet you'll enjoy visiting other people's creative spaces too.

Your wardrobe looks fantastic and I love all the colour. I love colour, but seem to own more neutrals.
ReplyDeleteHow good does it feel to have your wardrobe all organised?!
Spring teased us for a moment and ever since it has been back to cold and gloomy. I am so looking forward to packing away the Winter woollies!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Is that really your wardrobe? The colours look fantastic and make me thing of warm, relaxed, summer days.
ReplyDeleteI'm off shopping this weekend to update my summer wardrobe. I haven't been able to spoil myself for such a long time so am looking forward to a little indulging and embracing some colour too. xx
This was on my list of things to do today (x5) but alas I failed to do it! Your 'little rainbow' looks fantastically wearable x
ReplyDeleteYour wardrobe is an inspiration to me!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's time to declutter my wardrobe and take photographs too!
xx
I'm just having another look and love how much colour and patterns you have. Right now the fashion is colour blocking which works for me as I basically have items with no patterns.
ReplyDeleteBut that is about to change I think...
Love your work. And you are SO organised!
xx
That closet is way too neat and clean. sigh
ReplyDeleteLovely wardrobe! The colors are fabulous! Have a beautiful day, Kellie xx
ReplyDeleteLove all the spring colors and it's so nice and neat!
ReplyDeleteI just love all those bright and cheery colors. I am not a big fan of dark colors. I will wear something bright during the winter, just because it makes me happy. Love color not afraid to use it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up today Thursday Everything favorite. This is how I found you. I am co-hosting today with Katie from Katherine's Corner. Stop by www.homesweetbutterfly.com
Thanks again,
Vanessa
Oh, this is so impressive, Felicity. And what a myriad of glorious colours you have to play with! Hmm, time to start the wardrobe de-clutter this weekend, I think! J x
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful colors in your wardrobe! Well, as the fall is arriving here, I'm looking forward nesting in a gray wool cardi, haha!
ReplyDeleteHi Felicity,
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping over to my blog earlier today, thought I'd pay yours a visit too! What a lovely, uplifting blog you have. Coincidentally, I have a serendipitous story on my blog ( love that word too). I love all the bright colours in your spring wardrobe, and how you've organised everything :)Sam
Beautiful colours and so organised. Wardrobe heaven surely? :-)
ReplyDeleteJem xXx
Your closet looks so much more beautiful than mine! I don't switch it out like I should. Maybe today is the day?!
ReplyDeleteNo kidding a rainbow of options. However, I don't think your wardrobe space is organized enough missy. Get to work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours! We are doing exactly the opposite - lining the warm and woolly things at hand :)
ReplyDeleteI love colour and hate that in winter )which is fast approaching here), most clothes are drab greys, blacks and purples ... none of which I can wear! I'll be hanging onto bright reds and oranges and lime green for as long as possible!!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful and inspiring! I'm just about to take out most of my color and replace it with the my fall/winter clothes. So sad... :)
ReplyDeleteI love your closet! I have a red overcoat and a colorful scarf I wear all winter to fight ouf the weather!
ReplyDeleteoooh yes, lovely inspiring wardrobe. Can't help but wish we were starting summer not winter (grass always greener!)
ReplyDeleteOff to change my spelling of woollie!
fee x
How'd i miss this yesterday, too busy emailing you!!
ReplyDeleteWow, come Summer, i'm coming to have a kaftan-off with you!! I'm not touching my wardrobe until the school holidays, still a week away. Love Posie
Hi Felicity, Joining in the blog hop from Katherine's corner and also thanks for your visit to my blog. You are one very organised person, even in your blogging. I like that, you must be able to reclaim many more hours per day than me. Your wardrobe is a delight. I too love colour, always drawn to purple and red. I'm now a follower and look forward to visiting often. TFS
ReplyDeleteWhy does'nt it surprised me that you have a wardrobe that looks so neat and tidy??
ReplyDeleteAnd away goes
ReplyDeletemy color, giving
way for the gray!
But, I'm ready ": )
And, I always punch
it up with a bright
scarf, tee or with
fun accessories!
The cool thing about
blogging is that I
can have my feet in
both camps ~ spring
and fall. Love it!
xx Suzanne
Oh my goodness Felicity, I am doing just the opposite. The autumn/winter clothes are coming out this weekend. Your closet is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGosh, your wardrobe looks so neat and organised and so very lovely too! Very light and floaty and colourful, perfect for Spring and Summer. This week I've been gearing up my wardrobe for the cold, cold winter we have ahead of us in Seoul - I'm actually really excited about the chance to wear all of my scarves, knits, coats and boots again!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I pretty much only ever wore black, dark blue and maybe the odd hint of dark purple. But as I get older I am embracing colour with gusto! It's so much fun to wear!
Despite my best intentions I always seem to fall back on variations of blue, blue and white stripes, whites, occasionally pinks and sometimes black. I need a wardropbe makeover/reorganise/overhaul. I'm moving hous ein 6 weeks so could be a good time to turn out the old and spring clean the wardrobe!
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you will be enjoying a magical start to SPRING sweet Fizz. Watching the blooms pop, do the daffodils pop first in your pocket of the world too? Bright and sunny yellows..
ReplyDeleteHappy hugs for a magical weekend * XX *
Hi Felicity, thanks for stopping at my blog and sharing your laugh with me re: peacock stalker.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to see the link you shared in this post. Thanks!
Great blog!
Wanted to add, we're in different hemispheres and winding down summer. I've made a conscious effort to buy brighter hues to get away from the excessive darkness in this midwest state's long, long winter. It doesn't help a lot, but at least I've tried.
ReplyDeleteI love to do this too. Only I will be doing just the opposite soon. Hugs and wishes for a joy filled weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I LOVE color and I especially love your choice of colors! They're happy and invigorating. If only I thought I could fit into your teensie-tiny clothes I'd be tempted to raid your closet!

ReplyDeleteHi Felicity,
ReplyDeleteI've just discovered your beautiful blog....and I am head over heels in love with your super-organised wardrobe. You have prompted me to go and look in mine.....uh oh, an awful lot of black and grey and not much colour at all. Am going to have to do something to remedy this situation....with your photos as inspiration!
Cate :)
